Welcome to the studio website. The buttons above should be self explanatory, and take you to the information you’re seeking. If you’re new to the studio, there’s a number of things you’ll want to know.

The studio is a dedicated, full-time teaching studio. It’s not a church hall, or hired floor space. Consequently, it’s set up like a dancers’ club with a small bar area, tables and chairs, great sound system, sprung wooden floor, and soft lighting. There’s always plenty of time for a chat and a drink, so if you want to, bring along a bottle of your favourite wine or a couple of beers, grab a table and relax for a bit. The place has a nice feel to it.

I often refer to the studio as “Fantasyland”. Once you’re inside the doors, what you do outside is irrelevant. The problems of the day just melt off your shoulders as you walk inside. In here, dancing is king. If the Prime Minister walked in to take lessons, she’d have to start at the bottom of the totem pole. She’s just a bundle of awkward arms and legs that I have to sort out. Most people here respect that. She’s not the Prime Minister in here.  She’s just Julia, who’s got a bit of a Tango problem that she’s working on. And she’s loving it …
